"South African Spaza shop owners have struggled to compete with foreign-owned spaza shop owners. One of the advantages foreign owners have over local owners is bulk buying. By bulk buying foreign owners are able to get discounts and sell products a lower price point. What Vuleka App does is solve this problem for local spaza shop owners. Vuleka negotiates and buys directly for manufactures and are able to pass on these discounts to the spaza shop owners. The App also enables spaza shop owners to build up a credit profile. Vuleka also won a competition last year hosted by Visa, they now developing a new payment platform with Visa."
